In this session Gordon Dewar-McKay, Head of Recruitment at Wellingtone will focus on three key areas:

- Optimising your CV for job boards, using Boolean Key Words, setting salary expectations to avoid Pidgeon – holing yourself etc
- Tips & advice on using social media to secure a new role, optimising your online presence, ‘dos and don’ts’
Gordon Dewar-McKay joined Wellingtone in 2011 following a successful tenure as a project and programme management recruitment specialist within two of the UK’s largest BPO and resourcing businesses; Capita and The Hudson Highland Group respectively. He has worked with some of the UK’s most prestigious organisations in both the private and public arenas, where he rapidly gained a reputation for resourcing excellence in the professional services resourcing space. In his role as Director of Recruitment and Talent Management at Wellingtone, Gordon is at the forefront of the company’s resourcing strategy, where his passion to meet and exceed client expectations each and every time is firmly embedded within his team.

He retains a number of professional qualifications and has extensive real world experience of developing client project management maturity. As Managing Director of Wellingtone Vince has a particular insight into career development and recruitment of project management professionals and recently judged the APM Young Project Professional of the Year Award (2014).
