The REC is also dedicated to maintaining and improving standards in recruitment and their code of practice sets the expectations for clients and candidates when they use an accredited REC Member such as Wellingtone.

So how do we conduct candidate selection and find you the right person?

 

• Stage 1: Initial Telephone Interview
o We call all candidates who apply for the advertised roles or those who have been shorlisted from our database to assess whether or not they fit the high-level criteria, if successful they progress on to stage 2.

 

• Stage 2: Second Stage Interview
o Conducted by a Senior Recruitment Consultant, this interview focuses on matching the candidate to client expectations, assessing skill, experience and attitude/character. If successful they progress on to stage 3.

 

• Stage 3: Detailed Competency Assessment
o Conducted by a Project Management Consultant this technical interview will confirm the candidate’s technical knowledge of any client required criteria such as PRINCE2 and MSP.

 

The candidate selection process outlined above is something that generic recruitment agencies are often unable to provide as it requires significant project management expertise.
