
As we draw to the end of 2009 there is some relief the year is over. Despite a noticeable increase in the number and range of opportunities coming through in Q4, the recruitment market for programme and project management remains generally slow. Indeed the Report On Jobs, published by the REC and KPMG, showed a marginal increase in permanent and temporary staff appointments generally, but the demand for PPM professionals, particularly within construction and engineering, remains weak.
